I am a trainee assessor in advice and guidance for level 2 and 3 and would value others experience on the advantages and disadvantages of different methods of assessment.
We found that client case studies work well with this qualification. Takes a while to develop but allows a lot of detail and thus criteria to be covered and discussed. Need to be careful with candidates who find writing a problem.
We also use a range of other methods including observation.
