NVQ Web

Hi to everyone

As those of you who have been with us over the years will know, we do develop the site on a regular basis. In fact you may have just noticed that the NVQweb banner has just changed colour - I hope you like it.

Over the coming weeks and months there will be some quite significant changes. Our main aim will be to make the site easier to use and to open the site up to a wider audience.

I have attached a plan that details the proposed changes and the rationale behind them. You are welcome to let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas for this. Even when change is positive I do appreciate it may raise issues so please email me if you have any questions.

This will not happen overnight but the main developments will include:

• Opening up NVQweb to all NVQ sectors. This will include forums for different NVQs.
• Adding more publicity material that can be used by members to let others know about our community.
• Merging the Candidate PLUS and AVCare into one enhanced subscription that will be integrated into the main NVQweb site (existing members will be able to access both the new and old sections.
• Listings in the jobs and resource directory will become paid only.
• We will aim to work more closely with NVQ assessment centres.
