You could also check the policy in your setting. There should be a 'designated person' responsible for safeguarding wherever you work - they will be able to help you, and there will be a policy which outlines your responsibilities such as what to do if you have concerns about a child or young person. You could look online for information from your Local Authority - they often have guidelines that are used by the settings in that area.
