My IV has asked for the knowledge/outcomes to be referenced on every completed assignment from the tech side of health and social care. . is this a requirment. pls help
You need to refer to your awarding body documentation to see what they require, but I think this is unlikely. Normally this type of detail is down to the individual training provider and their own standardisation. Much will depend on how obvious are the links between the tech cert criteria and the work being offered as evidence.
It doesnt actually say in the city and guilds guidence that we are to refernce the assignment to the knowledge of the tech side. It clearly shows on the assignments details how the knowledge is covered, I have tried explaining that this means more paper work to do, and time, seesm we are pc hunting again these new awards are huge!!!
Without looking at actual work it is not possible to take sides on this, but I do hear your frustration. The change to QCF was expected to reduce bureaucracy but I have seen that many practitioners are finding it hard to let go of their habits.
I am not sure which qualification you are working with. Hopefully once it gets bedded it then things will become easier.
